Shipping/Receiving Clerk

The Shipping/Receiving Clerk is a production position where the incumbent is responsible for timely receiving of incoming products. The incumbent is also responsible for labelling, organizing, packaging and shipping final product.  The Shipping/Receiving Clerk is responsible for following established Shipping/Receiving guidelines for efficiency which are in alignment with the MagBio Genomics Quality Policy.



• Organize, count, weigh, stack, box, label, transport material appropriately

• Receive and process orders daily, including receiving deliveries, labeling products and distributing packages.

• Follow the priority of tasks and instructions as directed by the Shipping/Receiving Manager

• Using Godex and Bartender software for making labels

• Maintaining stockroom/warehouse by cleaning, organizing and labeling items in storage area on a regular basis.

• Recordkeeping of the items shipped and received, preparing shipping and receiving reports for the supervisor.

• Schedule large shipments and coordinate logistics to ensure that there is always enough space for incoming items and being able to manage incoming and outgoing shipments.

• Perform customer service duties as necessary, maintaining good relationship with shipping companies and clients is necessary.

• Maintain a safe and clean work environment


• High school Diploma or GED equivalent

• Experience with spreadsheet or database software such as Microsoft Word/Excel and can use computer efficiently

• 1-2 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment as well as warehouse setting is preferred.

• Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time

• Ability to lift minimum of 25lb

• Candidate must be highly organized and have a positive can-do attitude.

• Candidate must be able to work in a corporate environment

• Candidate must be able to handle working independently and as a part of a team

Job Type: Full Time. Normal work week is 40 hours per week
