SFD-HT (Short Fragment Depletor – High Throughput)

DNA Size Redistribution Reagent for Long-Read Sequencing

SFD-HT is a patent-pending magnetic bead–based DNA purification and size redistribution reagent designed to optimize high molecular weight (HMW) DNA and genomic DNA input for long-read sequencing workflows.  Applied after DNA isolation, SFD-HT selectively reduces short DNA fragments while enriching longer molecules that improve sequencing library quality and long-read output.

Compatible with Oxford Nanopore® and PacBio® workflows, SFD-HT enables tunable depletion of fragments below 10 kb, 25 kb, or 40 kb using an automation-friendly magnetic bead workflow.

Unlike traditional size selection methods such as gel extraction, BluePippin™, and fixed-threshold cleanup reagents, SFD-HT provides a flexible and scalable approach to DNA size redistribution for improved long-read sequencing performance.
