SFD-HT (Short Fragment Depletor – High Throughput)

Tunable Reagent for Efficient Elimination of DNA Fragments <10 kb, <25 kb and <40 kb

Short Fragment Depletor – High Throughput (SFD-HT) is a new, patent-pending magnetic bead–based reagent used for size selection and purification of HMW DNA for long-read sequencing. It is designed for tunable depletion of short DNA fragments, enabling depletion of fragments below 10 kb, 25 kb, or 40 kb. SFD-HT is being developed as a high throughput & automation friendly alternative to Company PB’s SRE-XS, SRE, and SRE-XL reagents for PacBio® and Oxford Nanopore® long-read sequencing workflows and is intended to give long-read sequencing labs in research, clinical, industrial, and public health greater control over size selection of large DNA fragments using a tunable reagent and an automation-ready protocol.
